With fair weather forecast for the next few days, Les Amis are encouraging Islanders to get into the spirit of summer with a fresh Lemonade Sale in St Helier on Saturday (13th).

With the Island still in a holiday mood after this week’s Battle of Flowers, the charity will be selling homemade lemonade – either pure or with a raspberry coulis – in the heart of town. It will cost just £1 per cup and all money raised will go to supporting the charity and its essential work supporting Islanders with learning disabilities.

The lemonade will be on sale from 11.30 am until 4pm in King Street, by BhS. Staff and residents from Les Amis will be there to supply the drink and summer cheer.

Lauren Carré, PR/Marketing and Fundraising Assistant at Les Amis, said: “We just wanted to celebrate summer and what better way than with a refreshing glass of lemonade, which has been made by one of our support workers, who is a qualified chef. I would also like to say a massive ‘thank you’ to the Jersey Field Squadron and the Parish of St Helier for their support.”
