Geowalk: Discover the Neanderthal hunting cave, La Cotte à la Chèvre
Join us for a guided Geowalk to La Cotte à la Chèvre, the Neanderthal hunting cave. Meet at Grosnez in the car park for a scramble down to La Cotte a la Chèvre. You will take the footpath towards Plémont then find your way down through the bracken and across the rocks to the Neanderthal hunting cave. The artefacts from the cave have recently been re-examined by Dr Josie Mills. The route to the cave is challenging and steep in places, only recommended for those who have a head for heights.

Geowalk: Discover the Gorselands
Journey along the scenic cliff paths from Corbière with its iconic lighthouse and stories of shipwrecks. Meander through the old quarry workings at La Moye, past the desalination plant to Beauport where you will get amazing views across to La Cotte de St Brelade. The return will be through the country park and back along the railway walk. Find out more about how the unique geology and biodiversity of this area has influenced past land uses.
