In Guernsey, Ogier has been promoted to Tier 1 in Commercial & Banking and maintained its Tier 2 ranking for Investment Funds and Commercial Litigation and Tier 3 rankings for Employment law as well as Private Client, Trust & Tax.
Ogier in Guernsey was described as "experienced and cost-effective", a "top notch firm" and "incredibly creative''. Stand out deals for the firm included advising on the £1 billion mortgage indemnity insurance scheme backed by the UK Government, and the launch of the $5.5 billion Coller International Partners VI.
Ogier's Commercial Litigation team in Guernsey was noted for being "well known for the depth of its abilities" and for acting in the noteworthy case relating to the $1 billion plus claim brought by the liquidators of Carlyle Capital Corporation.
