After more than 200 people attended public sessions of an art exhibition including masterpieces by Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali and Claude Monet at Ogier's Jersey offices this week, the firm has committed to repeating the event.
The exhibition was staged in association with London art experts Gladwell & Patterson - experts in fine art with a distinguished history running back to 1752 – and saw part of the firm's offices at 44 Esplanade transformed into a gallery displaying not just works by Picasso, Dali and Monet, but also Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Camille Pissaro and Alfred Sisley alongside other more contemporary paintings.
A further display is now being planned for December.
Ogier Global Head of Corporate, Simon Dinning, who led the event, said: "We initially planned this as a client event, but we could not miss the opportunity of giving the Jersey public the chance to see such an impressive display of masterpieces.
"We have been delighted by the public reaction – not just to get so many people through the door over the two mornings, but also in terms of the feedback that we have had from members of the public.
"This may well have been one of the largest collections of masterpieces ever hosted in the Island, you would normally have to go to London to see a collection including works by Picasso, Dali and Monet, and we are pleased to have been able to present some of the greatest artists of the last 200 years to a Jersey audience."
