Ormer’s Christmas menu was hand selected for the guide. Shaun Rankin is taking the best local and seasonal ingredients and adding his own Christmas sparkle. Turkey with apple and sage stuffing, spiced cranberry and bread sauce will please those after a classic feast, but turbot and venison alternatives are there for those wanting something different. The desserts in particular stand out; chestnut and vanilla soufflé comes with a Christmas pudding ice cream, and the mulled wine artic roll is complemented with a poached clementine.
