Air passengers travelling out of the Island for four days or more during the forthcoming October Half-Term holiday period are once again being offered free car parking at Jersey Airport from the fifth day onwards.
The offer, which is available for users of the main car park at Jersey Airport runs between Thursday 24 October and Monday 04 November 2019 inclusive.
This is the second time such a car park promotion at Jersey Airport has been offered since the inaugural one was launched earlier this year during the Easter holidays. The introduction of new parking technology in early 2018 and its subsequent data system now provides Ports of Jersey with a better understanding of customer behaviour in terms of parking at the Airport and demonstrates the company’s commitment to providing better value for its customers for longer stays.
Drivers wishing to take advantage of the promotion need only retain their parking entry ticket until the end of their stay so that the pay machines will automatically limit the amount charged to the four-day tariff of £76.80, even if their length of stay has been longer.
With many travellers still preferring to drive themselves to the airport, especially those with young children, it is hoped this promotion will encourage more people to take advantage of the on-site parking facilities as they did during the Easter period. In particular, the self-drive option proved popular and convenient with passengers arriving back into the island after a long-haul flight offering them the convenience of having their own car waiting for them.
