Redwood Offshore senior employees have successfully passed EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) foundation and practitioner exams, strengthening the consultancy’s data protection capability across the Channel Island marketplace.
Lance Barclay, Senior Manager and Wendy Woodcock, Office Manager at Redwood Offshore have qualified as GDPR Certified Practitioners after completing the EU GDPR Foundation and Practitioner course. Mr Barclay and Mrs Woodcock are now qualified to fulfil the role of Data Protection Officer (DPO) under the EU GDPR.

The course, delivered by an Information Security Compliance Manager trained to ISO 270001, provided training on the key implementation and compliance activities required to achieve continuous compliance.
Mr Barclay has over 15 years’ experience in law enforcement and compliance, with particular expertise as a Money Laundering Reporting Officer. Mrs Woodcock has 24 years’ experience in the offshore finance industry with particular expertise in technology, compliance monitoring and anti-money laundering.
