SANNE has invited Bedell Cristin to jointly host a technical panel discussion on the key benefits of the recently approved Jersey International Savings Plans.

The event, to be held at the Law Society in Chancery Lane, will include a presentation from Nancy Chien, chairman of the Jersey Pensions Association and partner at leading Channel Island Law firm, Bedell Cristin.  Nancy will speak about the new offering which will enable multi-national companies, as well as family offices, to set up flexible savings plans for their employees. The new law for ISPs in Jersey came into force on 1 January 2019 and they have already attracted a great deal of attention from employers around the world.

Lucy Baird, Head of Corporate Services at SANNE, said: ‘This is an exciting new product which could revolutionise remuneration propositions for employees globally. As a global leader in corporate services, SANNE is well placed to manage the requirements of our clients in implementing an international savings plan and offer bespoke, best of breed trustee services. We are delighted to be hosting this roundtable in partnership with Bedell Cristin and have an opportunity to share our knowledge with clients and industry professionals alike.’

Nancy Chien said: ‘Employers are looking for flexible employee incentive arrangements for retaining key talent, and international organisations are wanting to establish sophisticated solutions in a well-regulated, tax neutral jurisdiction.  Jersey ISPs will meet their needs and the plans can be tailored to suit individual requirements.  We have no doubt that they will be popular for employer’s world wide.’

Also attending the technical discussion from SANNE are Vicki Aston, Director, Corporate Services and Associate Directors Gavin Snarey and Kim Luce. Their global experience will make this an informative and dynamic discussion and they are delighted to be working with Bedell Cristin on this knowledge-sharing event.

The invitation only roundtable will be held on Wednesday 27 March 2019 at The Law Society, London.
