Scrutiny to hold Digital Skills review public hearings

Further to its announcement to review Digital Skills in Jersey, the Digital Skills Scrutiny Sub-Panel will begin gathering evidence at three public hearings to be held next week.

Further to its announcement to review Digital Skills in Jersey, the Digital Skills Scrutiny Sub-Panel will begin gathering evidence at three public hearings to be held next week.

The details are as follows:

Date: Tuesday 26th November

Room: Le Capelain

Time:

  • Minister for Education, Sport and Culture - 9:00am to 10:30am
  • Digital Jersey - 11:00am to 12:30pm
  • Minister for Economic Development - 4:15pm to 5:45pm

The Panel is seeking to establish whether the recently published Vision for IT in Education: ‘Thinking Differently’ is capable of playing an appropriate role in delivering the skills required by an emerging digital industry in the Island.
