Standard Bank Wealth and Investment, which has its international division based in Jersey, has been acknowledged as having the Best Investment Banking Capabilities for Wealth Management in Africa in the prestigious 2018 Euromoney Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey.
Standard Bank Wealth International, headquartered in La Motte Street, is an integral part of the wealth management arm of Standard Bank, Africa’s largest bank by assets. Working closely with colleagues in South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, London and Mauritius, the Jersey office develops long-term, goals-based financial plans to meet the on- and offshore needs of clients across the continent.
Wealth and Investment also took first place for Commercial Banking in South Africa and for Net-worth Specific Services in Nigeria in the Euromoney survey. Furthermore, it came first for Investment Banking Capabilities and for Succession Planning Advice and Trusts in Nigeria and was also acknowledged as the Best Bank for Societal Impact Investing in South Africa.
The Euromoney Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey recognise the leading providers of private banking services, with 2,395 valid responses collected this year.
