State Street teamed up with the Rotary Club de la Manche for the annual shoebox appeal, aiming to give Christmas gifts to under-privileged children in countries all over the world including Montenegro, Tanzania, and Romania.

State Street’s key organisers this year were Annette Minchington, Sue Chittenden and Russell Turner. Annette who has been helping with the Rotary Club Shoebox Appeal for 12 years, filled 72 boxes herself. The boxes are designed for children ranging in ages from three to 16 and include a wide variety of items ranging from practical necessities such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap and flannels, to more fun loving gifts such as hats, scarves, dolls and other toys to help brighten up the lives of the children at Christmas.

State Street employees put together a grand total of 145 shoeboxes.
