The Variety Children's Christmas Party was held recently for more than 70 deserving local children, parents and carers.
Santa visited and gave all the children presents thanks to Bambola Toymaster and the Channel Islands Cooperative.
Variety's Jeanette Pinel said: "I must say a big thank you to the Hotel de Normandie for providing the room and the delicious party food, Hoops and Glitter for the fantastic entertainment and Graham Lumb (Lummy) for some great tunes. Thank you also to the wonderful Ladies of Variety for organising such a fabulous party, all the children had such great fun!"
Variety are dedicated to helping deserving children in Jersey. Since their inauguration in 1968, Variety - the Children’s Charity of Jersey have raised millions of pounds.
As with all charities at the moment, Variety need more members and volunteers. Any help, however small, improves a young life - very quickly and in a major way.
Throughout each year, the Barkers (Members) and the Ladies of Variety hold monthly lunches with raffles. Annually, Variety sell Gold Hearts, hold an Annual Ball, Table Top Sales, a Grand Draw, themed Dinners and many many other fundraising events. Companies, members, friends and families make donations without which we could not meet the many demands on funds.
So, whether you want to become a member, fundraise, volunteer or donate, your offer of help will be received with open arms. The only people more grateful to you than the team at Variety, will be the local children whose lives you’re about to improve.
