Firm shortlisted in two categories at Citywealth Brand Management Awards
Following its successful rebrand from Volaw Group in September 2017, VG has seen recognition in the Citywealth Brand Management and Reputation Awards, being shortlisted for Best Rebranding Campaign and Website of the Year.
The prestigious awards, now in their third year, highlight the best brands in the financial industry, celebrating excellence in branding, marketing, design and digital presence. With over two hundred submissions for the awards, being shortlisted for two awards cements the impact that VG’s rebrand has had on its business.
Mark Hucker, MD of VG said: “In January 2017, Volaw decided the time had come to review our business strategy and formulate a new core vision as well as revising new brand values, positioning and proposition and all key messages. We felt strongly that our new brand needed to reflect our personality much more clearly and, working in partnership with our design agency, Westgate Communications, Volaw Group transformed into VG.”
“The new brand now reflects the core values of the business and its people. It encapsulates everything that we stand for, representing far more clearly the caring and professional way that the team interacts with each other and with its clients and their advisors. Feedback from our employees, clients and partners has been overwhelmingly positive and the fact that we have been shortlisted for these prestigious awards is testament to the vision and hard work that the whole business has put into the campaign.”
Shaun Westgate, MD of Westgate Communications commented, “We are absolutely delighted that the rebrand has been so successful for VG. At Westgate we have a very clear and easy to follow methodology for developing engaging brands so that they achieve the right impact for our clients, with both their external and internal audiences. We have employed this same approach in a really successful partnership with the VG team, to support them in realising all their commercial ambitions for their very dynamic business.”
