A fantastic collection of vintage cars from the dawn of motoring - early 20th century to 1950, including an early 20th century horse-drawn carriage - together with some recent super cars displayed by Jacksons and a McLaren 600 Long Tail will be displayed in the grounds of Government House on Sunday 26 September between 11:00 and 16:00.
This is a wonderful opportunity to see these rare vehicles in beautiful surroundings.
Entertainment for all the family includes Bouncy Castles, an historic 1940’s Children’s Vintage Carousel, Glitter tattoos, JM Dance Studios, The Jersey Ukulele Band, Lindy Hop, Hot Bananas, The Jersey Lilies – Morris Dancing Group and Bare Bones (Band).
Catering will be provided by Kismet Cabana to include various Paellas, Burgers, Hot Dogs and Mexican Tortilla. Swirl and Twirl ice cream van will be there as well. For the more traditional, Cream Teas, Prosecco and Jersey Wonders will be available and a designated picnic area.
Admission is free, but donations will be for His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor Sir Stephen Dalton and Lady Dalton’s chosen charity, the Jersey Child Care Trust.
The event is organised by the Jersey Old Motor Club in conjunction with the Jersey Child Care Trust and promises to be a fabulous fun day out. Plentiful parking is available and Liberty Bus Sunday service no. 23 stops nearby.
