Voisin law firm and Volaw Group will move to new premises at 37 Esplanade, St Helier at the end of this month.
After more than 30 years at their current address, both firms will move to the heart of St Helier’s new finance district on Monday 28th October. The relocation will enable the firms to expand their services and meet the growing demands of local and international clients.
The granite and glass walled Esplanade building, which has been given an environmental BREEAM rating of ‘Very Good’, offers state of the art facilities. The multi-tenanted office comprises seven floors of which Volaw will occupy the whole of the fifth floor and Voisin half of the fourth floor. Together, both firms will occupy just over 20,000 square feet.
The move will take place over the weekend of 26th-27th October with no disruption to business services. All existing telephone numbers, emails and web addresses will remain the same. The websites of both Voisin and Volaw will be completely refreshed to coincide with the move.
The building, which has been constructed and fitted out by Dandara Jersey Limited, has been designed specifically to let light in from different angles during the day with the boardroom and meeting rooms at the front of the building also enjoy spectacular views of St Aubin’s Bay. Cathy Elliott of the Elliott Design Partnership has transformed the huge empty floor spaces into truly impressive working environments for both firms.
The move follows a successful year for Volaw, into which the Europlan Group merged in September 2012. Volaw Group, is now one of the larger independent fiduciary services companies in Jersey, with further growth anticipated in 2014.
Robert Christensen, Managing Director of Volaw Group, says:
‘I am confident that the move will support our future growth and allow us to expand our services. Over the past year Volaw group has been fortunate enough to secure new business and the move represents the final step in a year-long process to establish firm foundations for the future of both companies.’
