Whether you like running or listening to music, there is plenty to do this week... all while supporting local charities.

Each week, Bailiwick Wellbeing shares a selection of sporty and community local events for you to get involved in.

Gig 4 Hospice

When? Saturday 25 March – 19:00

Where? Youth Arts Jersey, St James Street

What? Youth Arts Jersey have teamed up for a music gig to help Sessional Work Honor raise funds for Jersey Hospice Care ahead of her participation in the London Marathon in April. Tickets are £5 (+booking fee) and on sale now with all proceeds going to Jersey Hospice Care.

Matilda the Musical

When? Saturday 25 March – 14:00 and 18:00

Where? Jersey Arts Centre

What? Year 5 and Year 6 pupils from St. Michael's Preparatory School take to the stage in a musical version of Roald Dahl’s beloved story, Matilda.

Discovery Days

When? Saturday 25 March – 10:00 to 16:00

Where? Maritime Museum

What? Jersey Heritage’s 'Discovery Day' events bring the best of storytelling, arts and crafts, trails and dressing up – a perfect fun day out for families with children under the age of 10.

Jersey parkrun

When? Every Saturday – 09:00

Where? Les Quennevais Cycle Sports Centre

What? Blow the cobwebs away and start the weekend off the right foot by joining runners and walkers for a 5k around Les Quennevais for parkrun number 333.

Hospice to Hospice Half Marathon

When? Sunday 26 March – 08:30

Where? Hospice Fundraising shop, St. Ouen

What? A half-marathon from Jersey Hospice Care fundraising shop in St. Ouen to the car park of Jersey Hospice Care on Mont Cochon in St. Helier. The route first takes runners out west, towards Grosnez before heading back through St. Ouen passing the start line on Rue De La Croix at 6.5 miles (and the relay hand over point). The route continues through St. Mary and St. John before turning onto Rue du Bel Vent where runners will begin their descent to the finish line in the beautiful grounds of Jersey Hospice Care. Late registrations will be available at 07:45 on the morning of the race, closing at 08:15.
