From the Fête de St. Helier to all things French and a football marathon, there's something for everyone in this week's calendar.

Le French Festival

When? Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 July

Where? Various locations

What? From the Norman market to pétanque tournaments, Breton music and slam poetry, there will be something French in the air this weekend. Check Le French Festival Jersey for more information on how to soak up all things à la française!

Money-Go-Round

When? Saturday 15 July – 14:00 and 17:00

Where? Hautlieu School

What? Renowned poet Roger McGough brings to life his witty and mischievous children’s book in a vibrant new stage adaptation.

Football Marathon

When? Saturday 15 July

Where? Les Quennevais playing fields

What? Local football teams are taking part in a 12-hour football marathon to help raise funds for Tackle Africa, a charity whose aim is to provide young underprivileged African people with HIV and SRHR (Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights) support through football coaching.

Fête de St. Helier

When? Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 July – 11:00 to 21:00

Where? St. Helier

What? The Fête de St. Hélier is returning with more activities. From a family stage, to family fun zone, free children’s activities, a St. Helier Day history trail, fairground rides, food and drink, stalls and live music, spanning across Parade Gardens, the Cenotaph, York Street, Charing Cross, Broad Street, Library Place and the Royal Square.

When? Saturday 15 July – 18:00

Where? Howard Davis Park

What? Join the Jersey Bounce for a night full of music and entertainment under the stars!

Live music will start from 18:45 with the 'Genuine Jersey Boys’, followed by a special set from the Bounce. The event is free and there will be a retiring collection to raise funds for Dementia Jersey.

Festival of a Mile

When? Sunday 16July – 12:30

Where? FB Fields

What? Organised by 3D Events and Rock N Road Run Co, the ‘Festival of the Mile’ is a fun and inclusive running (and beer chugging) event that aims to raise funds for a local charity. Runners (solo and teams) of all abilities are invited to join to take on a series of mile long running (and drinking) challenges!
