Once again, the weekend calendar is looking fully packed with a marathon, Corn Riots, a harvest celebration and an exclusive tower visit.

Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon 2023

When? Sunday 1 October – 09:00

Where? Starting from Weighbridge Place

What? Come and show your support for the over 2,500 runners taking part in the Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon.

Vibrant Jersey Wedding Fayre

When? Sunday 1 October – 11:00 to 17:00

Where? Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel

When? From DJs to florists, celebrants, venues, entertainers and other providers, there will be over 40 exhibitors at the Radisson to help you plan your big day.

What? If you want to start your yoga journey and don't know where to start, Madhura's Yoga classes are just the thing for you.

Harvest Celebration

When? Sunday 1 October – 10:30

Where? St. John’s Manor

What? St. John’s Parish Church is inviting islanders to join in the beautiful grounds of St. John's Manor for a Harvest Celebration. There will be a short service of harvest hymns, readings, prayers and a talk followed by a free buffet lunch for all. There will be seed planting activities for children as well as a falconry display and the opportunity to explore the Manor grounds.

The service will be in St John's Manor Chapel if the weather is wet.

La Folle d’Avoût

When? Saturday 30 and Sunday 1 October

Where? Royal Square

What? The Corn Riots Harvest Festival, also known as La Folle d’Avoût, which takes place 30 September – 01 October marks the anniversary of The Corn Riots – a meaningful time in Jersey’s history when local people came together to make a change about the way that Jersey was ruled.

There will be live performances from local bands on stage in the Royal Square. This year, the weekend will also feature a children’s choir performing Jèrriais songs, and a public Jèrriais sing-and-play-along. Le Hocq Tower St. Clement Open Day

When? Sunday 01 October – 10:00 to 16:00

Where? Le Hocq, St. Clement

What? The Jersey Tourist Guides Association (JTGA), Guardians of the Le Hocq Tower, have been opening its doors to the public on the first Sunday of every month since April. This is your last chance to see the tower, which has held a commanding position on the South-East coast of the island since its conception in 1778, this year.

Come wander through the tower rooms, imagine the lives of its occupants through the centuries, and about its history from the expert guides.
