Enjoying a night at the races or a taste of Spain are just some of the things islanders can do to unwind this weekend.

Spanish Festival Stall

When? Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 July – 12:00 to 20:30

Where? Albert Pier

What? The Jersey Lifeboat Association is hosting a Spanish Food Festival stall to mark the visit of Nao Victoria to Albert Pier. Come enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of Spain, and treat yourself to some goodies from the JLA stall.

Under 18s Battle of the Bands

When? Saturday 22 July – 14:00 to 18:00

Where? Watersplash

What? Budding musicians between the age of 14 and 18 will be battling it at the Watersplash for the opportunity to have two tracks professionally recorded and produced for free.

It will be followed by an afterparty with 88 Bunkface, Claymore, and INTERMISSION.

Parish 13 Live

 

When? Saturday 22 July – 22:30

Where? The Old Smugglers Inn

What? Parish 13 will be taking their mandolin, mandocello, violin, bass and cajon out West to the Old Smugglers Inn this weekend. Come enjoy great food to the sound of their music.

The Jersey Derby

When? Sunday 23 July – 14:30

Where? Les Landes Racecourse

What? Come see the best horses on the island battle it out over a mile and a half for the coveted Jersey Derby, followed by four other great races.
