As well as her tax expertise, Mrs Martin has championed the diversity and inclusiveness agenda and is passionate about helping individuals realise their full potential. This has been demonstrated through the continued growth of the Channel Island Tax team, as well as her continued investment in the Women’s Development Forum across the Channel Islands, sharing her personal challenges and experiences to encourage women in business achieve their potential.

Andrew Dann, EY’s Channel Islands Managing Partner said: “It is great to see that Wendy has been shortlisted for this prestigious award.  We have experienced substantial growth in our tax service line since Wendy joined the firm, reinforcing our position as leading advisers on FATCA, BEPS and other tax regulatory matters.

“Wendy has a great ability to communicate complex tax matters in a clear and understandable way. She is focused on delivering exceptional client service and has received very positive client feedback. She motivates and inspires her team and as a result is an excellent role model to others. She is a remarkable businesswoman.”
