AFM has achieved the world’s most established quality management accreditation.

ISO9001 is a standard that proves a company’s ability to consistently provide products and services that meet the needs of its customers and other relevant stakeholders.

Mark Edgar, managing director of AFM, said he was extremely proud of his team.

‘For us to achieve this accreditation in such a short timeframe and without any non-conformities proves that AFM has the capability to consistently provide products, which include services, that will enhance the customer satisfaction and meet the applicable statutory and regulatory requirements expected of any respectable FM provider,’ he said.

‘Moving forward, having strong systems in place and the back-up of a driven workforce, AFM is well-placed to ensure its technical infrastructure is fully compliant with the standards set within the very strict ISO guidelines.’

The accreditation enables clients to carry out their own internal audits of their quality management systems (QMS) to ensure any changes are implemented, instilling further confidence in AFM as service providers across the Channel Islands.

AFM is now looking at ways to increase its quality assurance standards by working towards other ISO accreditations.
