Aurigny is both delighted and honoured to be flying the FA Cup to Guernsey today, on a scheduled flight from Gatwick.

The trophy is coming to the island to celebrate the first ever FA Cup match to take place outside of England. It’s between Guernsey FC and Thamesmead Town and will be played at Footes Lane on Saturday 20th August.

Clive Acton, Aurigny’s Commercial Manager, says: “We were contacted by the Football Association earlier this week and after carrying out the necessary safety checks, we welcomed the opportunity. This is a first for Guernsey and a first for Aurigny.”

He continues: “Aurigny has a longstanding relationship with Guernsey FC as we fly the squad to the vast majority of their away games.”
