Deutsche Bank's custody business in Jersey and Guernsey has been recognised for the fourth consecutive year at the Custody Risk European Awards, which were held in London recently.
The Bank was named ‘Channel Islands Custodian of the Year’ at the Custody Risk European Awards 2015 ceremony which took place on Thursday 12th November at Le Meridien Piccadilly Hotel in London. The award was presented to Mark Osment, Head of Deutsche Bank’s Channel Islands Financial Intermediaries Team at the black-tie gala dinner event.
Now in their twelfth year, the Custody Risk European Awards are organised by the Incisive Media Group and are recognised as one of the most prestigious awards initiatives in the securities servicing industry. They aim to identify the best companies in custody, fund administration and technology across Europe, with the awards being selected by a highly experienced independent judging panel.
Deutsche Bank's custody business has been established for 43 years in the Channel Islands and caters for a broad range of both institutional clients, including regulated funds, and private individuals.
Luke Clancy, Editor at Large, Custody Risk magazine, said: “Custody Risk judges were impressed by Deutsche Bank’s commitment to the local custody market place, its automation of fund oversight processes and client instructions and client feedback that attested to Deutsche Bank‘s efficiency and pragmatism.”
Mark Osment added: “To be recognised for four years in a row is a fantastic endorsement of the expertise of our team and the strength of our custody offering. The economic climate, technology and regulation have all impacted the custody market so much over the past few years and we have worked hard to find solutions for our clients. This approach has given clients the confidence they need, as we continue to see growth in our pan-Channel Islands custody service.”
