Intertrust in Guernsey has promoted an experienced manager in risk and corporate governance to director level. Sarah Willis will head up the Regulatory Compliance Services department in Guernsey and further grow Intertrust’s senior team.
Ms Willis, who joined Intertrust in 2016, will be tasked with developing the recently-established Regulatory Compliance business line with Guernsey being the first of Intertrust’s 39 offices worldwide to deliver these services.
The team is responsible for the roll out of the service line - which offers outsourced FATCA, CRS, AML and other services – across the wider Intertrust Group, which has a presence in 28 jurisdictions. The service is already being utilised by global funds and corporate clients who wish to outsource the administrative processes involved in meeting their compliance responsibilities.
Ms Willis will also be involved in developing a global integrated approach to FATCA and CRS reporting.
Paul Schreibke, managing director of Intertrust in Guernsey, said: “I would like to congratulate Sarah on her promotion. She has brought a huge amount of knowledge and drive to the team and her promotion is a reflection of the firm’s growth especially in our Funds and Regulatory Compliance services teams.
“We offer a high quality of service to our clients around the world and Sarah’s expertise helps Guernsey to lead the way in providing a structured approach to regulation and compliance.”
Ms Willis said: “I’m looking forward to continuing to develop the regulatory compliance business. It’s a huge endorsement for the quality of our team here on the island that Intertrust in Guernsey is leading the development of these services for the wider group.”
