Technology solutions provider C5 Alliance has appointed Charles Christian and Matt Champion to their Guernsey team.
Both join the team following the completion of their studies in IT at the Guernsey College of Further Education.
Mr. Christian is a junior consultant in the professional services team and Mr. Champion works across both the professional services and managed services teams as a software engineer.
C5 Alliance director of bespoke development, Marc Beavan, said: “Matt and Charles’ studies at the College of FE have stood them in good stead. It is heartening to see Guernsey fielding excellent candidates for work in this sector. We are always looking to foster homegrown talent, as demonstrated through our bursary scheme and the C5 Graduate Academy, and we believe Matt and Charles will excel in their roles."

C5’s professional services team works with businesses going through changes providing strategic consulting, risk management and solution design.
The managed services team works in partnership with the clients with around the clock support and valuable management information.
Both Mr. Champion and Mr. Christian said they were attracted to working with C5 because the firm was extremely active with a high social media presence.
Mr. Champion, who is currently training on the remote monitoring system N-Central used by C5, said: “I was drawn to software development as I like to solve problems. C5 is doing some amazing things and I wanted to be a part of that.”
Mr. Christian, who has created his own virtual reality strategy game in the C# programming language, said: “I am passionate about emerging technology especially around virtual and augmented reality. Working with C5 will expand my knowledge and experience and challenge me.”
