“Guernsey Electricity is currently undertaking a rigorous review of our whole business looking for efficiency gains, better ways of working and more effective ways to serve our customers.
“As part of this process we are undertaking a complete review of our organisation structure to ensure that those activities that are vital to providing security of supply and a great customer experience are clearly aligned and have appropriate executive level focus.
“Today we have announced the new organisation structure and are moving into a period of consultation with all employees to confirm the duties that they will be performing as we implement this new organisation. We intend to have concluded the consultation with employees about their roles by the end of April and to have the new organisation in place in early May.
“This new organisation will provide the foundation for the ongoing transformation of the business and enable us to focus on building trust with all our stakeholders, servicing our customers better, providing the island with the electricity infrastructure we need for the future and maintaining the affordability of energy to all residents.”
