Proving that big things come in small packages, White Rock Brewery won the Marketing Achievement on a Small Budget Award at the Chartered Institute of Marketing Awards in Jersey on Friday 20 March.

Entrants had to demonstrate an effective marketing campaign for under £10,000. The judges noted White Rock Brewery had planned a campaign which "benefited from exceptional implementation…and exceptionally creative design. The project management of this campaign deserves a special mention. A lot was achieved with very limited resource."

Ross Gledhill, co-founder of White Rock Brewery, said: "Launching the Channel Islands’ first and only micro-brewery has been an exciting time for us and we are absolutely thrilled to have won the award. Our iconic pump-clip designs have really helped us to grab people’s attention and build an identity over the last 12 months, for which we thank Betley Whitehorne Image. It couldn’t have come at a better time as we look to expand our Jersey market further."

Piet Whitehorne, Creative Director at BWI, said: "It’s quite rare to have an opportunity to create a brand for a tangible product and we have enjoyed the challenge of developing White Rock Brewery’s individual style and design language since its formation. Over the course of the launch campaign we have been responsible for communicating the brand using a variety of different media including; website creation, point-of sale materials, advertising, vehicle livery and outdoor signage."
