Insurance company 1st Central, which is headquartered in Guernsey, has appointed a local woman to a group position.
Sophie Vaudin has been made group brand manager, following the company’s recent rebrand. She moved to the position from 1st Central’s managing company, Robus Group, where she was a lead underwriter and looked after marketing.
"1st Central is an incredibly fast paced and ever-expanding company and the challenge offered by the position was too exciting an opportunity to miss. The technology behind the company is market leading and incredibly advanced, constantly improving the service it offers and the customer experience," said Mrs Vaudin. "I am looking forward to bringing the group to a position of working in unison, ensuring that our message is clear and there is synergy throughout.’
Mike Leonard, 1st Central’s co-founder and deputy group CEO, said: "Sophie has a strong background in the insurance sector and has hit the ground running. She is a problem solver and her passion for marketing is clear. I have every confidence that Sophie will ensure that the group moves as one, with a distinct and clear vision."
