Islands Insurance has unveiled its new corporate identity and rebranded as Islands following an across-the-board review of its business operations during 2015.

The company, which has offices in Guernsey, Jersey and Alderney, will be known as Islands from this week onwards and, in addition to a new website www.islands.gg, all signage, stationery and display material will feature its new corporate colours, logo and strapline ‘Taking care of tomorrow’.

Director Stuart Wilson said: “A key strength has always been that, as a local business with offices in the three largest Channel Islands, we know and understand the communities we serve, and it’s reassuring that our customers recognize this and appreciate being able to deal with someone face to face.”

“Islands, which is what everyone knows us as, has been doing business in Guernsey for over 35 years and all policies and claims are handled locally, so you know the person you’re dealing with. The clue is in the name because we cover so many aspects of island life”.

“And while Islands is small enough to remain focused on personal service, we’re backed by NFU Mutual, the leading insurer for the UK’s rural community, who underwrite the majority of our products. So customers get the best of both worlds.”
