Katy Sandrey has been promoted to group head of marketing and PR at Ravenscroft.

In her new role, she will be responsible for all marketing and communications projects, as well as the organisation of Ravenscroft’s corporate events in both Guernsey and Jersey. In addition, Mrs Sandrey will deal with media matters, sponsorships and manage the company website.

"I am thrilled to be moving into a dedicated marketing role at Ravenscroft. I hope to continue to increase awareness of Ravenscroft and, through improved communications, add further value to our clients," said Mrs Sandrey.

Mrs Sandrey joined Ravenscroft in 2008 as PA to group chief executive officer Jon Ravenscroft and co-ordinated the company’s rebrand in 2013, when it changed its name from Cenkos Channel Islands to Ravenscroft. This included updating all branded products, marketing material and the company website.

Charlie Roger, Ravenscroft’s Channel Islands chief executive officer, said that Mrs Sandrey’s knowledge of the company would be invaluable in her new role.

"Katy has seen Ravenscroft grow from a small office in Guernsey with a handful of people to a company with more than 60 people across the Channel Islands and now in the UK. There is no-one better placed for this role as she knows so much about Ravenscroft’s journey and its future plans," he said.

Mrs Sandrey holds a certificate in professional PA and secretarial skills and is currently working towards the CIM level 4 certificate in professional marketing.
