The Teenage Cancer Trust Guernsey Appeal is hosting a fashion show which will also benefit The HUB.

The show will take place at the Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts on Friday 31 March and will feature local models who have previously suffered from cancer, as well as some who have benefited from The HUB’s services.

Participants will model the latest fashions from Creasey’s, Sail or Surf, Freelove, Inanna and Jack Wills and local band Kings will perform. The show will be hosted by ITV Channel’s John Fernandez.

Tickets are available from the participating stores and start at £10, with VIP tickets available for £20. All proceeds will be split between Teenage Cancer Trust and The HUB.

The show is being sponsored by Josef’s, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and will be styling the models’ hair on the night.

Maxine Batiste, Managing Director at Josef’s, said: “Both of these causes are especially close to all of us at Josef’s and we thought supporting the fashion show would be a fitting way to celebrate our 50th anniversary.”

Chairman of the Teenage Cancer Trust Guernsey Appeal Jason Moriarty said: “These events require a lot of work to pull together but they’re great fun and we expect the hard work to result in a show with a professional look and feel.

“We are very grateful for the amount of support we have received so far and the show wouldn’t be possible without main sponsor Josef of Switzerland and the others who are so generously giving us their support.”

The Teenage Cancer Trust Guernsey Appeal is dedicated to helping teenagers in the island with cancer get the expert treatment and support they need. The HUB offers support for children, young people and their families.
