Mourant Ozannes' property practice has appointed Nicola Johnston and Teresa de Nobrega as Associates in their market leading Guernsey team.
Nicola, who has joined from a leading Scottish law firm in Edinburgh, advises on a full range of matters relating to commercial and residential property and brings a wealth of experience working from a jurisdiction with a legal system that has many similarities to Guernsey.
A Guernsey qualified Advocate, Teresa specialises in wills, probate and capacity issues and has more than 12 years' experience advising on a variety of contentious and non-contentious matters. She was called to the Guernsey bar in 2011.
Mourant Ozannes Partner and Head of Guernsey Property, Mark Torode, said:
"Following a really busy year with a number of major property transactions, these appointments will allow us to service an increasing number of instructions while maintaining the exceptional level of client service that our clients expect. Nicola and Teresa are both excellent lawyers and I am certain that they will be valuable assets to our busy property team."
Mourant Ozannes Guernsey property team now comprises three specialist Advocates, three property solicitors and is the only Guernsey property practice with a qualified town planner.
