Nerine Group of Fiduciaries has been nominated in the first ever Independent Trust Company of the Year category of the esteemed Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Private Client Awards for 2014.
The company is one of just five short listed for the award which will specifically honour independent trust companies.
The Awards, which have become an industry standard, have this year received a record number of nominations across a variety of categories representing the different areas of private client practice.
Nerine were founded in 1997 with an office of 10 in Guernsey; today they employ nearly 100 staff in Guernsey, British Virgin Islands, Switzerland, Hong Kong and Delhi.
Keith Corbin, group executive chairman, said: “We are most pleased this year to have been able to enter a nomination for the awards which included detailed references to our success as an independently owned company. We believe that our independence is a major contributing factor in building strong relationships with clients in their generational planning.

The awards will take place in London in September and will be judged by a panel of experts.
