Indulge media has appointed Linsey Burnard to the role of digital marketing executive. She will be involved with search engine marketing, email marketing and social media strategy.

Linsey graduated from De Montfort University with a degree in media studies and went on to complete a Masters degree in marketing management. Prior to joining Indulge Linsey gained valuable experience working as marketing co-ordinator for a local financial services company.

Mrs Burnard said: “Digital marketing is an exciting and challenging arena. I feel that my experience working in-house will lend itself to my role with Indulge because I can understand the perspective of the client first-hand.

“Indulge’s expertise lies in digital marketing which means clients know they are getting the best service from specialists and I am looking forward to working with clients who understand, and are keen to explore, the digital space. I am also particularly looking forward to getting involved with their project to bring Code Clubs to local schools.”

Indulge Director Russell Isabelle said that Mrs Burnard’s appointment reflected the organic growth of the business, particularly within the key areas of search and digital marketing.

“Search marketing is an important part of our business strategy as we continue to evolve our digital marketing services across the Channel Islands; Linsey will help us drive this evolution. The combination of digital marketing, high quality design and an expert team of programmers allow us to provide a full digital service all under one roof.

“Linsey will also have responsibility for our work in the community. When we began Code Club last year we had no idea how successful it would be – so much so that it has inspired other local companies to get involved too. We are proud to have brought this initiative to Guernsey and it is highly rewarding for our team to watch the children progress throughout the year.”

Indulge media started the first ‘Code Club’ in the Channel Islands last year as part of a UK-wide initiative which encourages digital professionals to run coding classes for primary school children and has confirmed it will run the after school club for a second academic year. A number of other clubs inspired by Code Club have since been launched locally, including Tech Club, which will allow students to carry on their coding work throughout the school holidays.

The company has also retained its internationally recognised ISO 9001:2008 certification in 2014, an award which focuses on a business’ ability to produce high quality products and services. It covers all aspects of the business, from staff development through to marketing and product and service delivery.
