A PERSONAL lines broker has been promoted to personal insurance manager at Rossborough Guernsey.

Michelle Le Prevost, 26, joined the company seven years ago after a short time as an administrator at a public relations firm.

Miss Le Prevost, who attended St Peter Port Secondary School and the College of Further Education, said she was looking forward to managing a team of seven brokers.

‘We have a very successful personal lines department at Rossborough, which I intend to help sustain. We place great emphasis on training and development and I will be guiding my team through this in respect of all our personal lines products,’ she said.

Miss Le Prevost, who holds a Cert CII qualification, is continuing with her own studies too and is currently working towards achieving her diploma in insurance.

‘Rossborough is a successful local company, well known for its products and expertise, and I want to reinforce that using my knowledge of all the products we offer within the personal lines department. I am always keen to put forward fresh ideas and the supportive, open nature of the company allows me to do that,’ said Miss Le Prevost.

Ian Stewart, managing director of Rossborough Guernsey, said the promotion was well deserved.

‘Michelle’s knowledge, confidence and ability has grown tremendously in the seven years she has been with us and we wanted to recognise this with this promotion. Not only was she a very able broker, she is personable, enthusiastic and throws herself into everything she does, from day-to-day insurance work to organising social occasions and charity events,’ he said.
