Dan Gallienne has been promoted to account manager at Orchard PR.

In this new role Mr Gallienne will play a key part in client management, winning new business and contributing to Orchard’s business objectives as part of the company’s senior team working alongside the account directors.

Mr Gallienne has worked for Orchard since 2014 supporting a wide range of clients in the telecoms, property and financial services sectors. He was promoted to senior account executive in 2016 with responsibility for developing Orchard’s internal operations, such as media monitoring and research, and managing the account executive team.

He previously worked for the States of Guernsey, and has a degree in English and American Studies from the University of Nottingham and a master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Leeds.

Last year Mr Gallienne received a distinction for the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Advanced Certificate and was recently awarded Accredited Practitioner status after completing two consecutive years of the CIPR’s continuing professional development scheme.

“Dan’s promotion to the new position of account manager is richly deserved,” said Orchard managing director Steve Falla.

“The introduction of this senior position shows Orchard’s strong commitment to developing our team and providing the opportunity for them to progress in their careers.

“Dan has continued to develop his PR skills and is an experienced member of the team, playing an active part in the development of PR strategy for clients.

“He brings a lot to the business  and we’re very pleased to have him on the senior team.”
