Rossborough Insurance has appointed Denise Stewart as the company’s personal insurances manager in Guernsey.
Denise brings 30 years of industry experience with her, having started out in the claims department of General Accident in 1987 and has more recently been the personal insurance manager in the Rossborough office in Jersey. Denise oversees a seven-strong team that works with clients on household, motor, travel, marine and other types of personal insurance policies.
‘With so much industry experience, Denise is a valuable addition to Rossborough’s team in Guernsey. She also previously worked in our Jersey office, and her wider industry understanding will help as we develop the business in the Channel Islands,’ said Rossborough director Glyn Smith.
Mrs Stewart said: ‘I am delighted to be working at Rossborough, and being part of an experienced and professional team. Being part of the Arthur J Gallagher group, one of the largest insurance groups in the world, also puts us in a very good position when it comes to product availability and support for our customers.’
Outside of work, Mrs Stewart enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She has also been a foster carer and is the company secretary with the Guernsey Welfare Service, which provides a food bank service on the island.
