Saffery Champness Registered Fiduciaries has been named Guernsey Trust Company of the Year at the Citywealth International Financial Centres Awards.
The awards ceremony, which took place on 21 January at the Grange City Hotel in London, saw the firm beat nine other local firms to the accolade, while its Swiss office was the runner up in the Trust Company of the Year, Switzerland category.
Now in its fourth year the Citywealth International Financial Centre Awards was established to highlight the excellence of the advisers and managers in the private wealth sector in major international financial centres.
The awards were judged by an international panel of highly respected practitioners from all sectors with experience of working with advisers in all the jurisdictions covered. The winners have excelled in innovation, expertise, contribution to the profession and client service.
Saffery Champness, one of the largest independent fiduciary service providers in Guernsey, employs 124 people across its trust, funds, tax and accountancy businesses, with its fiduciary team specialising in the provision of services to an international client base.

Four directors from Saffery Champness – Nick Batiste, Kelvin Hudson, Lisa Vizia and Helen Green – were once again recognised in the 2014 Citywealth Leaders List which features prominent figures from across the legal and private wealth management sectors and the company is listed as one of the Top 25 Trust Companies in Private Client Practitioner’s ultimate rankings of its Top 25 series.
