Daniel O’Driscoll has been appointed as a relationship director in Barclays funds intermediaries team in Guernsey.

In his new role, Mr O’Driscoll will be providing strategic banking solutions to Barclays fund administration clients.

As well as ensuring an excellent level of service, Mr. O’Driscoll will be working with fund administrators to identify the most appropriate solutions for their needs across cash management, banking, credit, foreign exchange, and trust structuring through to complex multi-asset lending and investment.

Mr. O’Driscoll has eight years’ experience in the private banking industry having worked for Lloyds Banking Group in London and South Africa primarily in investment advice and asset management. More recently, he joined the regulated leadership team and took on responsibility for performance improvement and was involved in driving the intermediary fund strategy for Lloyds Bank International.

He holds an MBA in Finance from Durham University Business School and is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.

Gavin Parker, head of offshore and local markets at Barclays in Guernsey, said: “Daniel has a track record of providing innovative and appropriate solutions to a range of fund intermediaries and his strategic approach will be a great benefit to our clients.
