Guernsey corporate, funds and private client service provider, Carey Group, has made five senior appointments with effect from 1 July this year.
In the company’s corporate team Chris Le Page has been promoted to the role of client director and Nikolett Mezei has become senior client relationship manager.
Mr Le Page joined Carey Group in September 2015 with over 20 years’ experience in funds and corporate administration.
“I enjoy the variety and challenge of providing high-quality services to the wide range of clients and sectors that we service; from FTSE 250 listed funds to major property structures and from trading companies to smaller personal asset holding companies,” he said.
Ms Mezei has worked in the finance sector for nine years and holds ICSA’s diploma in offshore finance and administration.
“The diversity of my role makes it enjoyable as it combines senior client relationship and company secretarial responsibilities for some fairly unique structures including property investment companies and London listed entities,” she said.
In the company’s funds services team, Leasa Callaway, who has over 29 years’ experience in financial services, has been promoted to associate client director.
“I oversee client service levels to build and retain customer relationships for the long term; I also oversee the introduction of new clients into the company. The family environment at Carey Group is unique and is an aspect I really like,” she said.
Promotions in the accounting and compliance teams include Stuart Simon to head of client accounting and Danielle Harrison to compliance manager.
“I am responsible for our client accounting services offering comprising a wide range of trust, corporate and fund accounting services which we provide to small, medium and large complex entities. Analysing how Carey Group can add value to our clients is a particular focus of my new role,” said Mr Simon.
Mrs Harrison joined Carey Group in 2011 and is a member of the International Compliance Association and treasurer and committee member of the Guernsey Association of Compliance Officers.
“My new role includes regulatory compliance for Carey Group and I am working to help maintain and drive our compliance culture. I am also now Carey Group’s money-laundering reporting officer.”
Carey Group’s managing director, Jim Gilligan, said: “These promotions recognise the talent and contribution of each individual to serving our clients and to developing Carey Group’s business.
“Congratulations to each member of the team on achieving this well-deserved next step and I look forward to the new energy they will bring to our management team and to our clients.”
