Sure Big Screen returns for summer 2015

Sure’s popular Big Screen event will return to Cobo once again this August and showcase a range of free films.

Titles confirmed so far are superhero smash hit Guardians of the Galaxy and Oscar-nominated The Theory of Everything.

The event has always been family friendly and this year will be no different as the Frozen sing-a-long edition returns and is joined by fellow animated films Big Hero 6 and Planes: Fire and Rescue.

For fans of classic cinema, there will be Top Gun, Dirty Dancing and the original Italian Job.

Sure’s Big Screen will take place from 25-31 August and will see several films per day shown at Cobo on the outdoor screen.

Jess Bisson, marketing and PR manager at Sure, said: “Sure’s Big Screen is always a hugely popular community event and we’re excited about bringing it back for 2015.

“We’ve got a fantastic range of films this year and have plenty more to announce, so keep your eyes peeled film fans as there’s sure to be something for you!”
