ZEDRA is moving ahead with its ambitious growth plans with the appointment of six trust professionals.

ZEDRA’s private clients team will be joined by assistant trust manager Simon Smith and trust administrator Brooke Le Page. Tom Schorrstedt and Jack Charles have been appointed as trust administrators in corporate and employer solutions.
‘When ZEDRA launched in January, we committed to doubling the size of the Guernsey office within five years. We believe that the expertise and knowledge that the island’s trust industry possesses has enormous potential and we are looking to expand our market share by maximising business development opportunities in key jurisdictions,’ said Julien Sharpe, managing director of ZEDRA Trust (Guernsey).
‘To grow our client base, we need a strong team in place and the appointments of Teresa, Nicky, Simon, Tom, Brooke and Jack will enable us to deliver the service our clients expect and deserve.’

‘The finance industry has faced some significant challenges in recent years and there will be more to come and clients want to have the reassurance that they are working with companies who can provide the services they are looking for to the standards they expect. I want to use my experience over the last three decades to play an integral part in the company’s future,’ she said.
Mrs Stoakes brings with her more than 25 years’ experience in client relationship roles in Guernsey and London, including 10 years with Rothschild Trust as well as three years compliance experience at Virtus Trust. In her new role, she will have responsibility for one of ZEDRA’s high net worth clients.
‘My mature professional outlook together with my experience in a diverse range of roles will I’m sure be beneficial to ZEDRA’s clients and my colleagues. It’s an exciting time to be joining the company as it has the strength of an experienced professional team together with independence to adapt quickly to meet client expectations and take advantage of new business opportunities,’ she said.
ZEDRA operates in 10 international locations, including Guernsey where it currently employs around 50 people. The ZEDRA name launched in Guernsey earlier this year after family-owned ZEDRA bought Barclay’s trust and fiduciary business.
