The Bosdet Foundation will donate £500,000 to the local community in 2020
The Bosdet Foundation has now opened applications for 2020 for projects that support children and families that have long-term impact and significant changes in society.

The Bosdet Foundation is the owner of Les Ormes and one of the largest charitable foundations in Jersey. Donations are wholly funded from profits of the self-catering and sporting facilities at Les Ormes. In 2020, The Bosdet Foundation intends to donate £500,000 to local charities and good causes.

Our annual report will be dropping through your letterbox this week detailing Bosdet’s work with details how to apply for funding. Please click here to view.

As part of the process, all applicants will be invited to meet with the Bosdet Charity Manager, Alan Le Pavoux, to discuss their applications and to gain further insight into the operation of the charity and how the funding will benefit the local community. Alan said: ‘Our reason for taking this approach is that we are fully aware that some of the smaller charities struggle with the application process and from experience we know that during the meeting we get a much better understanding of the impact the application will have.’

Alan plays a major role in the applications and offers guidance and support in completion of the applications. His focus is on what improvements the projects will have on the lives of individuals, the community as a whole and future generations.

The application process is now open, forms and other documents can be downloaded from

Alan is available for interviews in the town office, please contact Elizabeth Talbot to organise: or 497040.
