Administrator - Corporate Services

Description
Under the guidance of the Client Relationship Manager, to assist with all aspects of the day-to-day administration of a group of corporate structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team alongside directors, managers and administrators;
- Responding to ad-hoc investor and client queries;
- Liaising with lawyers, directors, auditors, other administrators and regulatory authorities in relation to ad hoc transactions
- General administrative duties, including inputting of payments and processing of recommendations;
- Assisting in respect of investor subscriptions and redemptions;
- Liaising with internal functions and investors in relation to investor KYC/AML related queries;
- Preparation of materials for board meetings, including meeting establishment, board pack preparation, meeting attendance, production of minutes and action point resolution;
- Assist the team with regulatory and/or statutory filings;
- Assist with the maintenance of accurate records and registers for each entity in the group;
- Assisting with bookkeeping, preparing reconciliations of subsidiaries and cash balances; and
- Any other reasonable duties that may be assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential, with excellent attention to detail as well as accurate and timely completion of work;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strategic thinking with an emphasis on relationship building and communication at all levels within an organisation to facilitate and coordinate multiple deadlines through the maintenance of a cohesive team;
- Ability to be self-motivated and produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects required;
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and applications, particularly Word and Excel;
- Ability to manage own workload and prioritise accordingly;
- Flexible, with the ability to work to time pressures and react calmly to changing demands; and
- It would be preferable (but not essential) that the potential candidate has experience in fund or corporate administration in the financial services industry.
Training
- Where considered appropriate, external courses will be offered to support training.
- Subject to their probation requirements being fulfilled, the preferred candidate will be looking to enhance their knowledge via undertaking a professional qualification, which may be in the accountancy (e.g. ACCA or equivalent) or chartered secretary (e.g. ICSA or equivalent) fields. In accordance with the terms of our training contract, support will be provided for the related qualifications including course attendance and examination time.
