WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team with
scope to provide a value add service proposition to work with clients to build
their businesses. Reporting to a
director within our Corporate Services team in Jersey, you will
receive training to develop their skills and knowledge to support their career
development. The role involves close and
regular interaction with all Stonehage Fleming employees, primarily in the
Jersey office but also Group wide in addition to clients, promoters, advisors
and intermediaries.
OVERALL PURPOSE
The purpose of the role is to play an integral part in the
provision of efficient, professional administrative support in providing
services to corporate and fund clients. Working
on a diverse portfolio of clients, you will gain a wide variety of
experience and training in order to progress your development.
This role would be ideally suited to a dynamic individual
wishing to embark on a fulfilling career in a growing financial services firm.
PRINCIPAL ELEMENTS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assisting with all Fund related
matters such as the acquisition and divestment of assets; investor dealing,
drawdowns and distributions, reporting, governance regulatory and compliance
matters etc
- Liaison with clients,
intermediaries and advisors
- Co-ordinate client board
meetings and assist with the preparation of board meeting materials
- Attendance at client meetings
and preparation of minutes ensuring completion of any post-meeting actions
- Assisting with the client
onboarding process
- Provide support to the director
in relation to business development – itinerary, planning, presentations
- Maintaining all statutory and
administrative records, including the client profile and transaction log
- Maintaining the corporate
calendar for a structure and ensuring calendar events/requirements are dealt
with on a timely basis
- Co-ordinate payment process for
the team’s clients
- Dealing with all day to day
correspondence in a timely and professional manner
- Maintenance of template
documents including assistance to develop presentational standards across the
team
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- You will possess some experience of working in
the Funds services environment (beneficial but not essential)
- You will hold proficiency in Word, Excel and
Powerpoint
- You will be studying towards, or willing
to study towards, a suitable professional industry qualification
