BI (Reporting) Senior Analyst

A new opportunity to join the Government of Jersey (GoJ) developing the Commercial Services MI strategy and delivering robust MI that will enable the GoJ to make insight led commercial decisions. You will be supporting the analytical capability of the Commercial Services team.

You will need extensive knowledge in delivering effective, actionable insight to aid decision making by identifying trends and highlighting any opportunities and risks, along with sound knowledge of using Excel and Power BI to manipulate data to provide insightful report. In order to be effective in this role you will have an understanding of commercial and procurement processes.

Excellent data visualisation skills are required to enable messages to be presented to senior stakeholders to support decision making, including the ability to draw on a range of consulting skills to drive stakeholder engagement, effective communication and demonstrate creativity in problem solving. 

This role is a link grade of 9 and 10. Appointees who meet the essential skills, experience and requirements of this role would be a grade 10. Appointees that demonstrate some but not all the essential skills, experience and requirements would be considered at a grade 9 and given development opportunities to reach the higher grade.
