Package- Circa £60,000 + 26 Days Holiday + Pension Scheme + Performance Bonus + Private Health + Dental Package + Death in Service + 37.5 hours p/w + 5 years residency required.

Reporting to our Head of Software Services, this management role is responsible for managing and operating our highly efficient and effective Billing and Operational Support Services team and platforms. The role is also responsible for the development and implementation of our JT software strategy while responding to new and change service requests aligning to agreed security compliance, certification and agility goals. The role is also responsible for providing system matter expertise, feeding in to our Solution Design and Innovation Team. Finally, the role acts as a senior advisor to the business for BSS/OSS management and progression of software services.

Essential Experience, Skills & Qualifications- Previous extensive experience administering BSS/OSS software and infrastructure with an in depth understanding of operating systems, monitoring, management, deployment, interfaces, data and reporting tools.
- Technical skills and experience encompassing but not limited to:
- Domain Specific: BSS, OSS, ERP, CRM, Web, Security
- Development Environments: Java, .Net, Oracle, SQL Server, LAMP,
- Virtualisation / OS – HyperV, VMWare, Openstack, Citrix, Linux, Windows
- Corporate: Microsoft technologies - OS, Exchange, Sharepoint
Desired Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in managing / mentoring a highly technical team
- Vendor management experience, ideally suppliers of telecoms BSS/OSS applications
- Working knowledge of project management, processes & methodologies
