Jersey Hospice Care is seeking to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer who is an authentic people-focused leader with a proven track record of excellent collaboration and strategic leadership.

The successful candidate will be passionate and enthusiastic about building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and empowering our dedicated team of employees and volunteers. They will be responsible for securing the charity’s success in delivering outstanding palliative care to all Islanders, irrespective of diagnosis or age, working with other healthcare professionals to ensure genuine choice in where and how they receive that care.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about seeing the charity move forward, building accountable partnerships to become a “hospice without walls” and fulfilling our vision to create a new unit for Children and Young People. The postholder will be responsible for implementing changes that drive our strategy forward, embedding the culture and values of the charity, building relationships with key external stakeholders, and working closely with the Income Generation team to engage supporters to ensure the long-term financial security of the charity.

To succeed in this role, and to lead the team through this next exciting stage of our journey, the successful candidate will need to be a strategic leader who has a passion for making outstanding healthcare accessible to all, with strong commercial acumen and financial awareness, and experience of being able to raise the profile of an organisation through excellent networking and communication.
