  1. Provide a full and efficient porterage service for both departing and arriving passengers, by assisting with passengers’ personal baggage, ensuring departing passengers are directed to their correct check-in desk, and routing arriving passengers to their onward transport, liaising with their tour operators as required.
  2. As part of our in-house cleaning team, the post holder is responsible for carrying out the set daily cleaning programme throughout the airport estate and act upon initiative to provide subsequent spot cleaning as circumstances dictate, using a variety of cleaning equipment. The post holder is responsible for ensuring that they play their part in ensuring high standards of cleanliness are achieved across the business.
  3. Maintain a high profile in all public areas by ensuring that no area is left unattended thereby maintaining a clean environment and always being available to answer passengers’ questions and provide direction as required.
  4. Act as Fire Warden (after appropriate training) in the event of the evacuation of the building, assisting with the clearance of staff and public areas to the safety of an assembly point and, where directed, taking a roll call for the Fire Service Fire Leader.
  5. Return trolleys from all Airport areas back to the main building and maintain a regular supply of trolleys at each collection point.

  2. Good people skills including adaptability, empathy and team working.
  3. Adaptable and flexible to an ever changing environment.
  4. Be able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision and well under pressure.
