This new role will support the Society’s
Head of Overseas Agricultural Development with the management of Dairy-for-Development
programmes mainly in Africa. The main responsibilities
will include:
Providing
support to the implementation of project activities.
Leading on
the monitoring and oversight of ongoing projects, including data analysis
and collection, and the development of dashboards, visualisations and
reports.
Providing
operational support to the establishment of the ‘Africa Jersey Forum’.
Ensuring
project plans, timelines and budgets are adhered to.
Monitoring
and overseeing the activities of project partners, including their
reporting and financial management.
Writing
interim and final narrative and financial reports for donors.
Designing and
enacting initiatives to improve the communications and visibility of the
projects.
The position is based in the Society’s
offices at the Royal Jersey Showground in Trinity, Jersey, although regular
international travel is part of the role.
This full time position will be on a three year contract with the
appointment made from the 1st January 2020 or as near to that date
